Job responsibilities for this role are as follows:
● Perform algorithm development for projects utilizing both scene viewing and machine vision applications
● Develop and adapt image processing algorithms considering future deployment on embedded DSP platforms with CPU and memory bandwidth limitations
● Research new Computer Vision (CV) technologies to stay in touch with state-of-the-art
● Perform detailed tests and performance analysis of developed algorithms
● Keep up to date with new standards and general market information in the automotive industry
● Work innovatively and creatively within the team maintaining a focus on protecting innovation and intellectual property
Suitable candidate should have:
● Master degree in relevant field, preferably doctorate in Computer Vision-related topic
● Experience with research and development of Computer Vision and Video Processing algorithms (academic as well as industrial)
● High degree of innovation and creativity
● Basics of C/C++ programming
● Fluency in (technical) English language
Highly beneficial but not essential would be:
● Experience with ARM and TI DSP, assembler programming, embedded systems and optimization of algorithms for such platforms
● Experience with Matlab or similar
Developed algorithm validation on a huge data-sets collected around the world
