In this role you will be responsible for providing complex (2nd/3rd level) services on Middleware layer/infrastructure for corporate clients.
Typical activities include:
• Incident management - solution/troubleshooting of technical incidents in production environment
• Problem management - analysis of repeating incidents, preparation of root cause analysis
• Change management - implementations of changes (configuration, deployment, installation, ...)
• Projects - proposals/design/build new production environments for clients
• Communication and cooperation with other teams from various locations
Required IT skills for this position are:
• Minimum 2 years experience in IT industry
• Operating systems (UNIX/Linux/HP-UX/Solaris, Windows)
• Networking and related technologies/protocols/services (TCP/IP, routing, DNS, HTTP/S, SSH, ...)
Advantage is familiarity with in Middleware technologies (with at least one of the following product groups):
J2EE application servers (Company WebSphere Application Aerver, Oracle/BEA WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat, ...)
Portal servers (Company WebSphere Portal Server, ...)
WWW servers (Apache, Microsoft IIS, ...)
Messaging/EAI middleware (Company WebSphere MQ, JMS infrastructure, ...)
DMS/CMS systems (EMC Documentum, OpenText, Alfresco, ...)
Programming skills (shell scripting, Perl, Java, .NET, AWK)
Database technologies (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, MySQL, ...)
